Meet Our Pastors Pastor Jerry and Linda Hill were married September 16, 1972 in Arcadia, Florida. They have no children with the exception of a  Shih Tzu named Missy. Pastor Jerry accepted the call to the ministry in August of 1976. He served as State Evangelist for one of the largest full-gospel denominations during the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. He has ministered in church and revival services, crusades, seminars, and prisons across the southeastern United States. During the 1980’s they pastored two churches in the State of Florida. Pastor Jerry fulfilled a long-time dream to teach in a Bible School while serving on the pastoral staff of a charismatic church in North Carolina.  Pastor Jerry became senior pastor of Freedom Assembly Church in November of 2001. His passion is to teach the transforming truths of God’s Word in a simplistic manner and to inspire other believers to discern, discover and delight in God's purpose and plans for their lives.  Pastor Jerry, Linda and "Missy"  reside in Hickory, NC.
