Do You Want To Know God? Have you ever wondered why you are here on this earth?  Do you question your purpose for being here?  Is your life worth living right now?  Would you like to have access to the power to help you dominate the circumstances of life that have been dominating you?  Would you like to know a peace that surpasses all understanding? If you said yes to any of these questions, then we want to help you begin your journey to know God.  To know God you must have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. How do you begin this personal relationship with God?  Just following these steps below and pray this prayer.  It is only effective if it comes from your heart.  REPENT "..REPENT, and believe in the gospel."  Mark 1:15 (NKJV) "..REPENT, therefore, and be converted that your sins may be blotted out.." Acts 3:19 (NKJV).   To repent means to change one's mind.  You must acknowledge that you have sinned and rebelled against God.  You must realize that you need a Savior to save you from your sin and Jesus Christ is the only one who can do that for you.  When a person repents they will experience an inward change of mind that leads to an outward change of direction. BELIEVE "..repent, and BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL."  Mark 1:15 (NKJV) The next step is to believe the gospel (Good News) of the Lord Jesus Christ.  You must believe that Jesus Christ died for your sin.  Romans 5:8 (NKJV) says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us".  You must also believe that Jesus was buried and that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved.  (Romans 10:9 NKJV) RECEIVE "But as many as RECEIVED him, to them gave them power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."  (John 1:12 KJV)  To receive means to take hold of something for your own.  To have a new life in Christ, a person must receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. CONFESS Romans 10:9 (NKJV) says, "that if YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved."  Verse 10 says, "for with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION.  Last of all you must confess that Jesus Christ is now your Savior and Lord of your life.  With this confession you are committing yourself to the Lord Jesus Christ.  You are committed to what you confess. This decision is the greatest decision you will ever make in your life.  It is your choice!  If you are ready to settle the issue of where you will spend eternity, you can, RIGHT NOW!  Pray the following prayer and mean it with all your heart! Prayer for Salvation Dear God, I know that I am lost and that I need a Savior.  I repent of all my sin and I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died for my sin.  I believe that He rose from the dead so that I could have eternal life and know you as my Heavenly Father.  Right now I receive Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and I confess Him as my Savior and Lord!  I thank you for saving me.  Amen!
