Success The man who tries to do something and fails is infinitely better than the man who tries to do nothing and succeeds. We all have a purpose and a work to fulfill so let's be about the Father's business. Gentle Responses "Remember that how you say something is as important as what you say." "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Proverbs 15:1 Gentleness "Let your gentleness be evident to all." Philippians 4:5 (NIV) "A soft answer turns away wrath" is the best system of self-defense. Remember, people who fly into a rage always make a bad landing. Job Career or Vocation "A job will make a living. A career will create a lifestyle. A vocation is your calling (The work the Lord has for you to accomplish - your purpose.)"I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." It is all about getting to know God better, up close and personal. He wants to be the source of your job and delight. I will rejoyce in the lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior Hab 3:18 Faith Faith is believing God is who He says He is and that He will do what He says He will do. Faith is obeying the Lord when you're unsure of the outcome. Faith is trusting Him when everything in you screams for proof. God wants us to walk by faith not by sight. "He who comes to the Lord must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Hebrews 11:6 Decisions God cares about the direction your life is headed.
